A Place Where Unconditional Love Changes Lives - Two at a Time
Beginning with a heart-breaking counseling session at a pregnancy help center on an evening in 2014, God has been working on Ruhamah's heart to develop this safe refuge for homeless, abused and abandoned pregnant women. To give each one a sense of personal self-value and give them tools for a better life and to be a good mother with Christian principles in a broken world.
Keturah’s Haven is situated in Katy, Tx. Keturah's Haven is a Christ-centered home to assist homeless pregnant women who need to be loved, nurtured, encouraged and supported during their pregnancy. Keturah’s Haven will temporarily house pregnant women 18 to 30 years old who are homeless, about to become homeless and those who are escaping abusive circumstances.
Keturah's Haven is NOT a government-funded shelter, but rather a HOME and a community for pregnant mothers to come and to prepare to be a new mothers. It is a clean, safe, healthy, loving, and most importantly Christ centered environment. To keep our doors open, we rely on divine providence through individuals and churches to support this pro-life ministry. Because of the generosity of our donors and supporters, many pregnant mothers have called Keturah's Haven their home. Innocent precious babies’ lives have been saved because their mothers had the support and housing they needed to make a life-giving choice. A resident can stay at Keturah's Haven during their pregnancy and up to a year after their babies are born

According to "Bible Study Tools", after Sarah's death, Abraham took Keturah as his wife and she bore him six sons. These sons represented Arab tribes South and East of Palestine, so that through the offspring of Keturah, Abraham became "the father of many nations. Keturah was also the middle name of the founder's late mother. She was known to have a heart that gave abundantly to people in need. Her legacy continues in the heart of Keturah's Haven.
